Who We Are

Heidi Livingston EiHeidi Livingston Eisips,   foundersips tinkers in all things sustainability, whether it be widgets, words, wildflowers or worms.  A seasoned high tech veteran with over twenty years of international experience, Heidi helps organizations achieve breakthrough results by shifting products, services and business practices to more sustainable models. She has worked with Fortune 100 companies, small businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Before launching her career in sustainability consulting, Heidi spent more than fifteen years in marketing and strategy in companies large and small, such as Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Pathlore Software and VCON, where she launched successful new business units and led forays into new markets. Heidi holds an MBA from Yale University and a BA in English Literature from UC Berkeley.  She is a member of Bioneers and Acterra, and a Green Evangelist at the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.  Korala Consulting is a member of Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV) and the Green Chamber of Commerce. Bill Coleman is a high tech executive with over 20 years of experience in the development of products and services in a wide variety of fieldBill Coleman, Team   Sustainabilitys of expertise from air traffic control to desktop software to ecommerce marketplaces.  Bill has expertise in Product Management, Usability Engineering, Marketing & Market Development, Operations Analysis / Process Redesign, SOP & Best Practices Implementation, Staff Training & Development and P&L Accountability.  In his most recent position, he served as Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer of IronPlanet, Inc., overseeing operational strategies and staff development initiatives to achieve both short- and long-term organizational goals. As one of the earliest members of IronPlanet, Bill moved into a completely new field, auctioning construction equipment on the Internet, and made a significant contribution by growing the business “idea” into a real-world company with more than $330M in annual sales. Bill’s expertise in defining and developing products and business processes, managing top-performing teams, and engaging customers to maximize service and satisfaction contributed to the success of IronPlanet.

Bill is moving into the Clean Tech/Green Tech sector because it provides the opportunity to satisfy both his professional and personal goals—that is, to make a significant contribution to companies that will help set the economy and the country on a sustainable new path. Bill’s specific interests include companies focused on making a significant impact on energy efficiency, alternative energy, or sustainability, especially at a community level.  Bill’s belief is that communities are large enough entities to make a significant impact on carbon reduction and small enough to speed the adoption of new Clean Technologies. 

In his free time, Bill organiz
es “Green Exchanges” for his local little league for which he serves on the Board and manages his own backyard version of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project.  Bill has a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jocelyn DeGance Graham is seeking inner peace: as we change our world, so we change ourselves.  A high-tech executive, named by Everything ChJocelyn DeGance Graham,        strategic communicationsannel CRN as one of the most influential women in IT, Jocelyn brings fifteen years’ experience in marketing, communications, and research helping to form strategic and business decisions for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Arthur Andersen.  Her latest venture, AllenPort, is a Cloud tech-start up recognized by Gartner as one of the ‘Coolest Emerging Technologies’ of 2010.  Jocelyn is focused at the intersection of IT and Sustainability developing a Green conference track for Women in Technology (WITi), a Green Career forum for Eucalyptus Magazine, and blogging her interviews with the leaders of Silicon Valley’s corporate Sustainability programs.  Jocelyn holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree from University of California.

Kelly Parkinson helps companies fight robot invasions. Specializing in clean tech and sustainability, Kelly has a knack for writing Kelly Parkinson,      writing guruwebsites, emails, and landing pages that drive response without sounding crunchy. She has helped Hewlett-Packard promote sustainability to its employees; she has generated leads for SunPower; she has helped major utilities drive enrollment in renewable energy programs; and her green-inspired copy has appeared in Safeway brochures and posters for Stanford freshmen. Kelly sees the big picture behind every project, advising clients on topics from lead-generation best practices to making the most of Twitter. While they were her client, a sustainability consulting firm won the Renewable Energy Marketer of the Year Award for 2 consecutive years; another client won a Silver Quill Excellence Award and an Hermes Creative Gold Award for projects she contributed to. A former Peace Corps volunteer and EFL teacher in Guinea, West Africa, Kelly has a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Lisa Payne has 2Lisa   Payne0 years of experience in office management and accounting.  She holds degrees from the Computer Business College of San Jose, CA, where she graduated with honors; and from San Joaquin Valley College-Bakersfield, where she was the only recipient of the prestigious Academic Excellence Award in her degree program.  Concurrent with her work at Korala Consulting, Lisa is pursuing a degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix.  Lisa enjoys spending quality time with family, writing, motivating our youth in any way possible, braiding hair in intricate designs, cooking, and performing original songs.  You can read more about Lisa's performance art and work with youth under Korala Consulting's non-profit project Y.O.U.R.S.
